Gauge: A precise, certified 300 mmHg manometer attains the accuracy of +- 3 mmHg without pin stop, and features an easily identifiable high-contrast dial. The die-cast manometer housing is outfitted with a heavy-duty clip so it can be easily attached to the gauge holder on the cuff.


Cuff & Inflation Bag: Resistant to abrasion, chemicals (chlorine and peroxide), and moisture, the adult Velcro® cuff is constructed of high-molecular polymer nylon. Sized to meet American Heart Association recommendations, the artery indicator label and index range further ensure proper cuffing for correct arterial compression. The double tube seamless inflation bag is constructed of crack-resistant, non-sticking, high-density latex-free PVC.

The Cardio Tech™ Premium Series Digital Blood Pressure Monitor is very user-friendly with its large display and color-coded hypertension indicator. It comes with a sturdy carrying case and requires 2 AAA batteries (included).

What I especially like about this blood pressure monitor is that it stores measurements for up 3 users with date and time taken and calculates the average of all these readings for each user.

Before first use, I recommend to read the very helpful manual to become familiar with its functions and features and to set date and time so you can learn over time how your blood pressure fluctuates.

One potential live-saving feature of this blood pressure monitor is the irregular heartbeat rhythm detection. In case, an irregular rhythm is detected during a measurement more than twice, you will see a filled in heart 💗 on the display along with the results.

Taking a measurement takes only a short amount of time. Make sure you're relaxed and hold the monitor at the height of your heart and when ready push "START". The monitor will emit different colors depending on results (SYS/DIA):

• RED for measurements above 160/100
• ORANGE for measurements lower than 160/100 and higher than 140/90
• GREEN for measurements below 140/90 

Don't worry if you see no color at all. I have my blood pressure below 100/75 in the morning which is totally healthy but the display doesn't emit any color. I don't know why it has been coded this way.

In all, I'm very satisfied with this compact blood pressure monitor. It's sturdy, works reliably and I have an easy way to retrieve past readings and see my average only a push of a button away.
