Islands Miracle CHELATED MAGNESIUM BISGLYCINATE - The Best Choice for Magnesium

Magnesium: Why and In Which Form?

Magnesium is essential for our bodies. Without it, we would stop functioning. It is involved in over 300 enzymatic processes. That alone makes magnesium one of the most important minerals for human health.

Magnesium ensures proper electrolyte balance, normal metabolism, muscle function, healthy protein synthesis, functioning of the nervous system, and healthy bones. There are many more things, magnesium does for you.

Oxide, Citrate, Bisglycinate… Which Form of Magnesium is Best?

A common form of magnesium in supplements is magnesium oxide. I used to buy supplements with magnesium oxide to prevent deficiency of this vital mineral. However, magnesium oxide is not easily absorbed by the body and may have a laxative effect (what I unfortunately experienced).

That’s why I switched then to magnesium citrate. It is better absorbed but it also have a laxative effect and that’s why I soon began to look for something else.

Magnesium Bisglycinate

I’m happy I discovered magnesium bisglycinate! Magnesium bisglycinate is a magnesium chelate, which is made up of magnesium and amino acid molecules. As the name implies, magnesium bisglycinate contains the amino acid glycine.

Magnesium bisglycinate has excellent bioavailability and, fortunately, no laxative effect as it is actively transported through the intestinal wall. It passes into the cell via its amino acid transport which means even those with poor digestion or absorption can reap the benefits.

I noticed that magnesium bisglycinate has a calming effect on me and led to the disappearance of my nightly leg cramps. For me, magnesium bisglycinate is very beneficial. It helps me unwind and relax better after a stressful day at work.

For me there’s no better form of magnesium than magnesium bisglycinate. If you want to do your soul and body a favor, try Islands Miracle Chelated Magnesium Bisglycinate. It offers the patented Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate Buffered that provides even better absorption (for more information, read the white paper Advantages of Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate Buffered).

Wish You Good Health!

Easy@Home Digital Thermometer EMT-026 - A Thorough Review

The Easy@Home Digital Thermometer for Oral, Rectal or Axillary Underarm Body Temperature Measurement with backlit LCD display, waterproof flexible tip, test completion&fever Alarm, clinical accurate,EMT-026 is a great and comfortable tool to measure body temperature. It is very simple to use and very practically designed. I like the fact it has only one button to perform all functions this thermometer offers.

The thermometer itself comes in a clear protective case along with a very user-friendly owner’s manual - all inside a flat box. I recommend to keep all original packaging and especially the useful owner’s manual for later reference.

The first time I got my hands on the easy@Home Digital Thermometer, I quickly noticed the flexible tip which makes measuring, especially with children, much more comfortable. The tip bends softly and adjusts to the contours of the body. I prefer to measure my own temperature in the armpit and I can say it feels much better with this one than with a stiff tip. It’s also good for oral and rectal use.

The upper part of the thermometer provides a secure grip thanks to its big size. The LCD display is also large and very readable and has a blue backlight when showing a reading so you can see the temperature even when it’s dark.

Before first use, I recommend to check if it is set to Fahrenheit. Mine was but in case yours is not, it’s simple to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. While the thermometer is off, press and hold the blue On/Off button for around three seconds and you’re done. You will see an “F” in the right corner of the display and it’s ready to use. Simply repeat the procedure if you want to switch back to celsius.

The measuring time ranges between 10 and 30 seconds depending where you use the thermometer. I noticed it takes longest in the armpit. Anyway, I got a fast response. The display emits a blue backlight and you hear a beeping sound to signal it is done reading.

One Feature I like is the color-coded “Feverline” above the LCD display. I don’t have to know what temperature is of concern. A triangular arrow indicates after each reading whether the result means normal (green), low fever (yellow), or high fever (red).

The memory mode is not complicated to access but if you don’t know how, it can be hard to figure out. The only way to see your previous readings, you have to measure first. Once you get the result and hear the beeping, you need to press the On/Off button for 3 seconds until you see “MEM” for memory. Then you need to press the On/Off button to advance through your stored readings. This thermometer stores up to ten readings. I found out if you have less than ten, you see a dashed line instead. I want to point out that the memory mode can only be accessed after a measuring, not by simply turning on the thermometer.

For cleaning, I use a wipe moistened with rubbing alcohol or alcohol-based disinfectant wipes without chlorine. Rinse the tip only under water with a neutral detergent. Please note that the water should not exceed 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Don’t use bleach and don’t immerse it in any liquid. I also recommend keeping it always in its clear protective case, or even better, in its original box with the manual.

As a caregiver, this digital thermometer satisfies my needs. It gives me a reading in seconds, it is user friendly and very comfortable to use. It offers everything I want from a basic digital thermometer plus some useful extra features like the flexible tip, memory of up to ten previous readings, and a bright, large LCD Display with backlight. I simply love it.

My Review of Big Ant Coccyx Orthopedic Comfort Memory Foam Seat Cushion for Back Pain and Sciatica Relief

💬

I sit long hours during the day - at work and home. I use a regular pad for cushion but it gets flat soon and it moves out of position. So, the idea of a pad on my seat to provide comfort is not a very good one but better than nothing. It does work out for me until the pad loses too much volume and I complain anew about my seat hurting after prolonged use.

That's where I came across Big Ant Coccyx Orthopedic Comfort Memory Foam Seat Cushion for Back Pain and Sciatica Relief - 100% Memory Foam Guaranteed(Gray). I was offered one free so I can try it out and after a while provide feedback in the form of an honest and unbiased review.

This memory foam seat provides excellent relief for my back and enough cushion so I can use it for long hours without problems. The shape of this foam seat is "universal" - everyone in my household who tried it for a couple of minutes found it very nice and comfortable. The ant head shape gives great support.

I am impressed and satisfied that I am about to buy another for myself for my car seat so I can drive long hours more comfortable.

However, my aunt called me and said that something on this foam seat bothers her quite a lot. She says the embroidered company logo is the culprit of her discomfort. However, this logo didn’t bother me, at all. I checked and saw she had the foam seat wrongly placed. The logo points FORWARDS, not backwards. I corrected the position of the seat and now she loves the memory foam seat as much as I do.

I read a review complaining about the embroidered company logo and now wonder if this particular customer placed his foam seat in the wrong direction as well - I believe he did. First-time customers should check how to place the seat. If you’re sitting on the company logo, you didn’t place it right. Again, the company logo goes forward, near the thigh area and not under your behind.

This seat especially helps to relieve my aching back and to reduce the pressure on the tailbone. The overall firmness is at a sweet spot for me, not too hard, not too soft. The ant head shape is perfect for the thighs and tailbones. It provides gentle support and I don't feel any pressure pain and my back issues improved.

In the end, I use this foam seat for myself mostly but consider getting at least one more. Especially, my aunt loves it. The memory foam seat provides comfortable support and helps in relieving my back pain and doesn’t slide or slip like regular seat pads.

In my opinion, this memory foam seat is a quick and easy solution to relieve pressure pain due to prolonged sitting and back pain thanks to improved tailbone support. It made my time sitting much more comfortable.

PainAway Essential Oils for Soreness & Pain Relief

http://www.amztk.com/essential-oils-for-muscle-relief

Sore muscles, stiff neck, back pain, I suffer from aches and pains occasionally and even if it’s not often, I do want to have a remedy at hand but I refuse to take conventional pain killers and messy gels and creams. When I heard there is an essential oils blend  that helps relieve muscle pain, I was eager to try it out. I use essential oils in my home for several purposes but never used for relieving aching muscles. The essential oil blend I tried is from Phytopia, named “PainAway”.

My bottle arrived in beautiful packaging, the small, white box alone is worthy to keep. Inside this nice box, I found a cute, little bag. In it, I found my long-awaited PainAway. It comes in a dark glass bottle well protected from sunlight. The bottle is tightly sealed to preserve freshness and I had to use my scissors to remove the plastic wrap. There’s also valuable information on how to apply and warnings before use. I have to say the manufacturer puts very much attention to detail.

The manufacturer suggests doing a patch test first and wait a day for any signs of allergy. I skipped that test because there was only one ingredient I didn’t know, Balsam Peru Oil, which is also one of the active ingredients in this blend, and I had simply no patience to wait.

The first time I opened the bottle, I immediately noticed the pleasant scent. This alone made me already feel better. I applied two drops of PainAway on my aching neck and rubbed it slowly in. It gave me a sensation of warmth and relief and it lessened my pain considerably. Yet, after 8 hours I had to reapply. Every time I used PainAway, I felt better and also my mood improved. The experience I made with this natural pain reliever is very uplifting.

PainAway is perfect for my aches and pains I experience a few times in the week. It gives me a noticeable relief without any chemicals. On the ingredients list, I don’t see any preservatives, fillers or other artificial compounds, just pure essential and carrier oils.

So far, I haven’t experienced any adverse reaction with continued use of PainAway. What I did notice is that I’m more relaxed, more at ease and muscle pain is less frequent. It numbs down my pain slowly and gently and calms me down after a stressful day and the menthol that is included in PainAway is a pleasure to inhale.

I’m happy I tried PainAway. It gave me something in my life that I can use to treat my minor aches and pains with confidence, knowing that it is free from any chemicals but still impressively effective to ease my pain. PainAway is something I enjoy from the first to last drop. It's my private spa in a bottle.

I received my very first bottle of this wonderful essential oils blend free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
