I use it indoors inside my kitchen in a dark corner of my cabinet because I got annoyed by so many bugs while preparing meals. It killed quite an amount of bugs in the beginning as I saw lots of pieces in its tray. Fast forward a couple of weeks, my kitchen's airspace is almost free of flying pests. Only a few times I hear a loud zapping noise. So, I'm happy it serves its purpose but I had to get used to that loud noise when an insect flies into the charged grill.
