I used regular files to give my nails that finished and polished look. I would still use files today but due to repetitive stress during cleaning large pots and pans after a big party, I had a stinging pain on my thumb and index finger of my right hand. I still could file my nails but slower than before due to pain. That’s why I gave healthywiser Advanced Electronic Nail Care Tool Kit a try.

The healthywiser Advanced Electronic Nail Care Tool Kit includes a battery-powered nail tool with a cap, a file head, a buff head, and a shine head, one free AA battery, a nail clipper (which is not listed on the package label - nice bonus!), two toe separators, and a clear zip-lock bag to store the kit and protect it from dust and moisture.

Of course, the centerpiece of this nail care tool kit is the battery-operated nail tool. At first, I thought this device was not working or I placed the battery wrong. I double checked and still nothing worked. I tried another time, this way I pushed the power switch all the way up and the nail tool began working all of a sudden. So, I have to start with the highest setting to turn on this “baby”. Lesson learned.

And how does it file? Pretty well! I needed some practice. Yet basically, you simply start from the nail tip and move slowly. It’s quite effective and I quickly learned how to move the pulsating file to achieve my desired shape. In fact, it’s quick and easy.

Initially, I did not use the toe separator though as I don’t like to use the same files for both, fingers and toes. I rather wait and figure out how to buy additional files for my toes exclusively. Yet, I tried the toe separators anyway and I find them quite relaxing to wear.

By the way, the nail clipper is of high quality and sturdy. It clips well my nails. It’s a nice compliment with which I am very satisfied.

Even though this is the first time I used such a product, I am pleasantly surprised by the performance of the battery-powered nail tool. My nails get their deserved treatment in little time. The accessories that come with are great and I also love my new nail clipper. I’m happy I discovered this very practical nail care tool kit.
